It depends on whether it's retrograde (which can be a huge debility) and what aspects it makes - but I'd rather see a dignified, well-aspected Saturn than a Jupiter in fall and retrograde were I looking for good in somebody's chart. Yes, there will be a Saturnian quality to the good as it's antithetical to honours, but it can still bring good. All the cool alchemists had good Saturn and Mars it seems.

And that is actually part of tradition.
