Need some experts to answer whether a chart can be still read with early ascendant. The question was casted on 24th August 2015 at 14:57 Bristol UK, Regiomontanus system

"Will I be sucessful with HE to get the role. Background, this role or offer of interview came directly from a headhunter, while the client will still interview internally, they also decided to offer me an interview. The role is an interim finance lead for Health Education England. The role requires travelling in various offices mainly in south west but my main location is 1hr away from home.

As stated ascendant 2degre53, Sagittarius rising, planetary hour moon. Mercury l10 received Jupiter l1 in 9th house. Jupiter conjunct sun 9th Lord, fitting the environment that entails the role. Mercury conjunct 10th, North node in 10 house, there is an aspect from Jupiter to moon and a square to Mercury. While there is some interconnections between significators, we have also a third party Saturn opposed Jupiter but sextile Mercury. Will you still read it with scripture to judgment, as there is a warning of infancy or unknown facts whic can be correct as I casted the question prior of receiving job description yesterday. So I guess, I did not have full facts at this stage. Additionally, it does not stop the astrologer to read the question if the chart is radical.

If I ignore the warning mercury is elevated and in the 10th, very near to the MC.

My significator Jupiter is very weak, peregrine and in his detriment.

The Moon is peregrine in Mercury's detriment. She is applying to the square of Mercury without mutual reception.

So there are some hidden agenda Saturn peregrine in 12th house

I think it's important to take everything into account and not dismiss a horary purely based on an early degree ascendant, but instead to consider this information along with everything else when rendering a judgement. In this case the early degree ascendant may suggest something premature. Saturn so close to the ascendant also suggests some disappointment in this matter.

Equally note-worthy though is that the MC, plus the ruler of the 10th, are both also readying to change signs. So it really seems like there's still a lot of things happening and either the role isn't quite settled or else there is more change to the role or to the situation.

Whilst Jupiter, your main significator, is weak, the Moon's next application is to Mercury, Lord 10, though by square with no major reception.

Ultimately I think there is too much of a sense of change and things not being settled or fixed or clear that makes me think that actually this role isn't what it seems or else that there are other roles which may take precedence instead.

Hi Paul

Thank you for your input, you nailed it when you says that there are other roles that may take precedence, actually I am currently waiting for 3 interim positions, 2 I know those NHS clients as I have done interim role in finance, and third one is a short term contract with an hospital that I have done dealing with. And actually a 4th that I have just received an email that selected my candidature which means nothing unless I secure an interview. Additionally, I thought about MC changing sign, and if I take Venus as next best apply she is retrograde and applied to moon. And as I love to assume retrograde seems something coming back. I was unsure whether the chart was radical, moon hour does not fit with ascendant sign? But like anything else is often difficult to be logical when you try to secure a job and specially when you have few penny left before financial debts hit you. This is first I cast a chart with early ascendant thus will be a good tracking model to see the outcome as my interview is tomorrow afternoon at 15:00. Will keep you updated :lala

Hi Zohra
We are neighbours! I'm in Bristol too :)

I agree with Paul, I would take the early AC into account and continue to read the chart.
There are 3 considerations here:
1. early AC
2. Saturn on AC
3. AC ruler combust.

Add to that L10 is in detriment of L1.
And moon squares L10 from detriment.

All adds up to a not so pretty picture. Keep us posted!

Hi neighbour Pallas and Paul

Update interview started with a hick lost myself in Bristol where actually the office was 1 mile away from my house. Client knew about my works as I worked across NHS entity in senior finance role. I had the strange feeling in the morning I will be surprised. Finishing my interview went through the reception and saw my dear friend going for same interview. We have worked years ago together and socialise time to time. So here my competition, she is as good as me. We are only 3 candidates that were selected for this interview. best one win :lala and maybe Venus R sextile moon bring past as she is 11 Lord can represent my encounter with my amazing colleague and friend and both of us work closely with same organisations, she is a permanent that resign with an hospital and I am an interim financial consultant moving across NHS for last 10 years and she is so smart, that the Stars shows me, here we go again, battle of the Titan. The client was supposed to make a decision tonite but are struggling to chose between two. I will keep you updated tomorrow. Horary is so insightful when you records the events. :lala :lala
