Where is anti-Fortuna? 1 by Bulletbobb I have always thought that, since Fortuna is made up, in part, of the ascendant, there should be another point, opposite to Fortuna, which would be calculated by using the descendant. I did such a calculation a while ago, and discovered that this point is nowhere near being opposite Fortuna. This raises two questions: if there is such a point, how would it be calculated, and, secondly, if it is true that, e.g., JU-180-POF is good for the opponent, then it would appear that this is so because the aspect afflicts POF, and thus favors the opponent. Also, I have always thought that, e.g., JU-90-POF would affect both teams, but perhaps this is not true, and it would vavor the home team alone. In sports astrology, where the descendant denotes the opponent, it would seem reasonable that a point favoring the opponent might be valid and valuable. Any thoughts? 2 by GB The point you are calling anti-Fortuna will always be opposite Fortuna: Fortuna is ASC + Moon - Sun, so your point will be DSC + Moon - Sun (if I have understood you correctly), which is ASC +180 + Moon - Sun = PF + 180 GB Quote Fri Mar 18, 2016 10:40 am
4 by Ameliesand So what should we do in order not to catch anti-fortuna? Or it is unavoidable? Quote Wed Mar 23, 2016 1:09 pm
5 by Bulletbobb You make it sound like catching a disease! It may make a difference if you have Mars-0-APOF as opposed to Mars-180-POF. Also, in harmonic charts, the two POF's would be in different places. CRW Quote Sun Mar 27, 2016 4:47 pm
