i tripped on this guys videos on the d-10 chart... i have watched the first 2 of the 3... i think they are quite good so i am sharing them... i didn't really know anything about this d-10 chart before watching these videos.. it seems the focus is on career - job.. i find all this quite fascinating!

so, i finally received the book by vp goel on dashamsha! i am into it about 60 pages or so.. it is also quite good, like the book on navamsha that he wrote a few years ago..

he combines the use of the natal, navamsha and dashaamsha chart to arrive at a position regarding a persons career, or failing that, a likelihood of self employment, verses not and etc. etc.. now, whether these ideas are jaimini or parashara - he doesn't say, and i don't know...

let me quote from his book on page 60 in the chapter titled self employed-service... the idea of someone being self employed or not seems to hinge on the quality of saturn in the natal, navamsha and dashamsha chart.. generally if it is exalted or in its own sign and not in a trik house, it favours self employment.. if debilitated, with rahu or ketu, combust, defeated in a planetary war or related to trik houses is implies the opposite.. he has indian astro terms for all this too...

i quote

saturn - saturn is the kaal which controls our karma.. he is servant of the planetary cabinet.. saturn is assigned two conditions in a horoscope.. these are gocharastha and agocharashtha..

gocharastha - this is the condition of saturn when he is exalted, in own sign and not related to trik houses.. when saturn is exalted or in own sign and is related to trik houses then it indicates government job of administrative level...

agocharashtha.. when saturn is debilitated, with rahu or ketu, combust, defeated in planetary war or related to trik houses is the condietion of agocharashtha..

when saturn is gocharastha the person is self employed.

when saturn is agocharashtha the person is in service..

if saturn is agocharashtha in birth chart and turns into gocharastha in navamsha or dashamsha the person changes from serive to self employment..

when agocharashtha saturn aspects its sign which is a trik house then saturn becomes gocharastha..

if saturn is gocharastha in birth chart and turns into agocharashtha in navamsha or dashamsha the person changes from self employment to service..

if saturn remains in same condition in birth horoscope, navamsha and dashamsha the person continues in same stream...

there are more steps involved, but you get the idea and appreciation for the level of thought and complexity of the mans work! i am not sure how much of this is his own, or taken from others as therese has said in the past....
