Joe Bidens Chances to Win the Presidency in 2020

i can't see him getting the gold ring here.. the chart is considered A via astrodatabank..

Source Notes
Marion March quotes Celeste Longacre from him in, "Welcome to the Planet Earth," 4/1987

i converted the chart into krishnamurti ayanamsha... ascendant is 10 scorpio 13 rising... the time is clearly rounded off, but regardless it is most likely scorpio rising...

solar return for now until the election has leo rising with moon in leo and squaring onto his natal saturn at 16 taurus... the ascendant in the solar return is a few degrees off the midheaven degree in his natal chart, so this attempt at climbing to the top is noted.. moon, the 9th house ruler in his natal chart is in a 4 degree conjunction to the midheaven as well.. moon rules the 12th in the solar return chart..

sr mars is in opposition to his natal 6th house moon... this brings the 1st and 9th house rulers together which is a positive, but it is negated as i see it by being on the 6/12 axis and in signs that aren't supportive of strength - mars in libra and moon in aries caught up on the 6/12 axis...

the muntha, or profection lord for the year is in aries which is the 6th sign of his natal chart and the 9th sign of the solar return chart... if you use this position and insert it into the solar return chart, it is being opposed by the solar return mars and mercury - both in libra in the solar return..

basically if biden get the nomination - and it looks like it because the dems are determined not to let sanders get it - i believe trump will again be the next president of the usa 2020..

Agreed. I have been saying the same thing for some months now on some mundane FB groups. Even just examining transits it looks very unpromising for Biden in the election and inauguration charts. To beat an incumbent President you need a real astrological head of steam behind you and Biden just doesn't have it. I think Sanders would give Trump more of a run for his money but I suspect his positions on Cuba/Castro and Fracking has undermined his chances in two key states (Florida and Pennsylvania) if he somehow did still win the Democratic nomination. However, I doubt a declared socialist could win the Presidency. I suspect for many Americans the notion of a ''democratic socialist'' is a misnomer as they still link the term to Communist. Moreover, while popular with urban, young and many white and Hispanic voters he just doesn't seem able to attract black voters in significant numbers. I will post up fuller astrological analysis later.

hi mark,

thanks for your feedback here... i wanted to mention that i wasn't looking at the dasas, which are much like the time lord concept in western astrology - until a few days ago...aj brought it to my attention...

biden has been in a jupiter period since 2006, with the various bhuktis or sub lords to the main dasa - jupiter, spinning a more favourable angle on biden in this regard... jupiters position in the natal chart is mostly favourable - 9th house and in the exaltation sign of cancer... the sub period with jupiter here is marsuntil april 9th when it switches over to jupiter / rahu sub period... rahu in the chart will have great bearing on how this time frame unfolds, with the caveat it is all inside the main jupiter period..

rahu or north node is in the 10th house / sign of leo, so again - the focus on winning the presidency is very much an energy associated with the natal position of bidens nodal axis..

i am really still very much a novice on indian astrology.. the aspects that north node are said to make are trines... north node is trine the natal moon in the 6th with moon ruling the 9th house...

even when i look at all this, i am still not seeing biden with a strong hand here for winning the presidency..

i did look at the solar arc data, and although i can see some positives - again, it is not enough based on my read...

now, maybe trump doesn't have a strong hand either and the one with the stronger hand wins! i will have to examine trumps chart... feedback from aj is trump has a stronger hand astrologically... i thought i would add all this for consideration by other astrologers interested in this..

I think one should wait and see who biden chooses for VP ... when one considers that Biden is a couple of days younger than Marty Scorsese and Elizabeth Warren an astrotwin of Meryl Streep ... something like that could easily upstage DJT ... like, ever see Chaplin's The Great Dictator?

Have you done his progressions? ... He had a progressed new moon about the time he declared and he's got the 'mo with his waxing progressed moon ... it took awhile (a whole nakshatra) for it to kick in ... i don't do vedic, but it could be instructive.

hi sgfoxe,
i looked at the solar arc data, but didn't look at sec progs.. i generally don't use them, but in looking at them here what i see as most prominent is sun 135 neptune - in his 10th and sec prog midheaven in opposition to his natal saturn... on balance i don't see this as helpful to him here... he also has sp mercury opp natal jupiter which looks positive until one sees that mercury is not friendly to a scorpio rising chart according indian astrology...

as i said after amy posted - the dynamic here - coronavirus and stock market meltdown can change all this and i have yet to take a close look at trumps chart yet... i need to do this...

one could look at it this way - whatever person who gets elected as pres is not going to be looking at a positive set up and one would think this would be reflected in there chart at the same time too... i need to examine trumps chart before commenting more.. cheers james..

Very good point. I hadn't considered it from that angle. I will take another look at things myself too.

If it isn't Biden I don't think it will be tRump either.

tRump's inaugural and progressed inaugural chart with election day transits. The transiting Saturn in both charts is opposite his natal Saturn and Venus. Saturn's presence usually is associated with difficulties, disappointment, loss, and such. But G. W. Bush was re-elected on his Saturn return..

Or yeah, you free to screw Trump's name writing whatever you want, since declared yourself "unique astrologer". Isn't biDen's chart showing that he's totally corrupted democrat's a-hole, and "walking dead" alone with nancY pElosy?

I am going to keep your post up as its a prime example of the kind of commentary I want to discourage here.

Your over personalising this. You may not like the implications of what Unique Astrology is saying about Trump's chances in November. It may offend your political sensitivities. But if you study the post there is just astrological analysis. No commentary as you have added in.

The best way to counter astrological commentary you disagree with is to respond to it with your own astrological analysis.

I plan to open a fresh thread on the US Presidential election soon. But I urge all posters here to avoid getting sucked into the heat of the polarised political climate in the USA at present. To do good mundane astrology you need a degree of objectivity and the ability to step back from the sometimes frenzied atmosphere in the media. Frankly, I don't think everyone is cut out for that.

Still, lets all try to raise our game here and become the best astrologers we can be. If you cant do that then at least be courteous to other posters here.

Thanks

Mark
