Is stationary Uranus more powerful? 1 by fleur Uranus stations on August 15th 2020 at 10 degrees Taurus 41 minutes, to go retrograde. It forms a 22.5 degree antiscion aspect to Saturn at 27 degrees Capricorn. My question is, are stationary outer planets more powerful when they are transiting points in people's charts? If it is forming a conjunction or opposition, within one degree, to somebody's natal personal planet, would this be a major transit to their chart? Quote Mon Aug 03, 2020 9:15 pm
2 by james_m hi fleur, it is my viewpoint that stationary planets are very important, whether you find them in a natal chart, or by transit as you are describing... i know the general attitude on slow moving planets or retro planets is considered a negative in medieval astrology, but perhaps this related mostly to horary astrology... for natal astrology stationary planets are a very important consideration and observation to make astrologically... also there is the dilemma over how wide the window of time is.. i give 7 days, but this is not standard.. you might have to check your software to see what the settings are for whether the program puts SD or SR next to the planet... i have seen too many charts where a stationary planet is very central to the person, to not overlook the importance of stationary planets.. that is my take... so this 22.5 aspect is your latest obsession?? that is a switch from isis and etc!!! cheers james Quote Tue Aug 04, 2020 12:13 am

4 by fleur Thanks James and Zosma for the idea to look up natal stationary planets, I hadn't done that and Astrodienst charts don't seem to have that option. Quote Tue Aug 04, 2020 12:05 pm
