Periodicity and the The Jupiter/Neptune Cycle

1
Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum having just discovered it (Skyscript) after following a link from Google, where I was searching on Kepler and harmonics.

I look forward to joining in your discussions and debate but, in this first post I thought that I would tell you that I have written some articles, which are being very well received, on my webspace called:
http://collaboratingwithfate.blogspot.com

The 'site' is more or less, dedicated to the use of harmonics, mundane astrology and planetary cycles. The current article is called Periodicity and I have other articles such as: Harmony of The Spheres, The Algebra Of Life, Pluto Cnj Galactic Center, JU/UR and 2010 etc.

I am not selling anything on this site, so please do not see this as an advert. I just think my current article is topical and my work may be able to contribute in some way.

Thanks for reading
x

Thank you for the link to your articles - very lucidly written

I thought this might be a good thread to add observations of neptune/jupiter ( and later saturn) in action.

Your link already notes whales as a possible manifestation. I have seen 4 lost whale stories in the last couple of months

There has been the huge bank robbery in the UK - This was easy to predict - the UK neptune is at 18 degrees scorpio - but I admit I was expecting computer bank fraud not the traditional physical version!

And unsurprisingly then UK fraud in general appears to be rife
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4799642.stm

Despite missing out on the big bank robbery the internet has played its part in the following story about the identification of over 2000 CIA agents ( what a gem!) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/4799174.stm
and in a huge rise in denial of service attacks
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4787474.stm

There have also been 2 huge lottery jackpots - the Euro millions in the Uk and another in the US.
I imagine the London stock exchange bids are also related to this cycle, as are bids for P&O ports

A "massive" oil spill/leak has been found in Alaska. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/4795866.stm
(Echos of the 1989 saturn neptune conjunction disaster there)
And in the Uk, at least, the media has been full of stories about inflating gas prices

And of course the good old avian flu stories abound - with neptune jupiter it just continues to spread.

All this and it's only mid March!!

It occurred to me after posting the news items that perhaps this wasn't a very statistically valid method of study. So yesterday I tried another approach - with neptune only a day or so away from exact square to jupiter and a full moon, i picked a news programme ( BBC2 working Lunch - a business programme - aired 13.00gmt 14 mar 2006) and listed all the items discussed. I wanted to see if neptune/jupiter themes dominated. I didn't expect a full house - there are other things happening in the sky- but the results were interesting:-

1) Boots plc *- a pharmacy co ( also this company's incorporation date has sun at 15 scorpio and saturn at 19 leo)
2) Wave power *
3) gas prices *
4) oil and gas in general & exploration *-
5) pensions *
6) potato crisps - a NI co Tayto
7) barometers *

All those with asterisks have neptune connotations - many also jupiter.
Wave power obviously has full moon connections too.
As for potato crisps ... I could find no relationship!! But 6/7 is a good result.

Hi Amelia,

Sorry there has been such a gap between your post and this one but I loved what you were saying. I think it would be a really good idea to have a place where astrologers could add links or observations about what was happening in the mundane world at the time of particular outer planetary aspects. Just think if we had a resource like that now it would be invaluable, like an ephemeris that you could turn back to any given date and see what was happening under previous Jupiter/Neptune squares or at the start of the cycle etc.

I tend to rely heavily on those massive history books that you can hardly lift which chronicle events, year by year and then put marks all over the white space with significators. I also use Michael Munkasey's Astrological Thesaurus ISBN 0-87542-579-8. If you haven't got this book, I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, and surprisingly, he doesn't have an entry for potato and I can't figure that one out. They do come from the Deadly nightshade family though. That's probably a very tenuous link but 6/7 is great!

It's coincidental that I should finally read this today as I was 'news watching' this lunchtime. I'm glad I'm not alone in this pastime! x
