Richard Hammond suffers car crash on Mars to Uranus transit

Richard Hammond probably won?t be a familiar name to international astrologers, but he is a very popular TV presenter and media columnist in the UK. He presents ?Top Gear?, and is well known for his love of driving and stunts. Yesterday evening he was seriously injured in a car crash, whilst being filmed breaking the UK speed record for the Top Gear program. He is currently ?critical? with a serious brain injury, although doctors are hopeful of his chances of recovery. This is big news in Britain because Richard was so well liked, and in a way it seems similar to the shock news over Steve Irwin, on whose death Richard recently commented for the Daily Mirror. Let's hope this story has a happier ending.

Richard was born on Dec 19th, 1969 (Birmingham), with Uranus at 8.30 Libra. Mars was transitting at 8.07 Libra at the time of the accident - 20th Sept, approximately 5:45pm BST, York. The Sun was also just over a degree from his natal Pluto at 21.21 Virgo.

Yes, we are familiar with Richard here in Australia and we get his show. It has been reported in the headlines of our media too. Just a few days after Steve Irwin was killed our most well known racing driver, Peter Brock, was killed while racing in Perth. He is internationally known also. Let's hope that Richard will recover completely from this terrible accident. And thanks for the chart details. It is an interesting chart with some not so pleasant transits.
