Two more small wins this week;

One line on the coupon entered March 1. for 5 weeks (this coupon also won last week!) http://www.astronor.com/ENTRY2.GIF , had 4 winning numbers + 1 extra number and gave a 5th prize of NOK kr.55,- (GP£ 5,-). The odds are 1:138
The same was the case with the coupon entered on Thursday's election http://www.astronor.com/ENTRY3.GIF . 4 winning numbers out of 7, + 1 extra gave a 5th prize of NOK kr.55,- (GP£ 5,-) Odds are 1:138

Not much - but the elections are still winning

Reflections:
The election of March 1. does best so far and might seem more finely tuned with the Moon within 16 minutes of my natal Sun, while the March 8. chart needs over a degree to reach my radix Asc. The March 1. chart has Mars, ruler of the 5th, exactly on an angle, the cusp of the 7th - while the March 8. chart shows Saturn, lord of the 5th, not angular but on the cusp of the 11th. (and was probably not equally electric). The election prepared for March 1. applies a more simple design and combination of the planetary hour/day and radical ascendant, ie. Day JU, Hour JU, Asc. in Leo. The Moon in Leo in the 1st house also applies to the lord of the hour by trine.

Election for the lotto draw March 17. 2007:

I chose an early entry this time, March 11. 2007, time 13.54 LT (12.54 GMT) wanting to pick up on a positive condition of the Moon. I have a coupon at home containing some of my favourite numbers and took it down to the local bookie to register it at the selected moment. Actually I wanted to register the coupon a little earlier, but came a little late, as I would have liked to have the Moon in an exact trine to my natal Sun at 13LE21, but never mind - I might find another auspiscious moment later into the week for picking up some random lines. If the occasion doesn't arize, then this will have to do.

http://www.astronor.com/ENTRY4.GIF

The election is made for the day and hour of the Sun with Leo rising. My natal Sun is on the Ascendant and the Moon casts a trine to both the Ascendant and the Midheaven, and is located on the Asc./MC midpoint.
The Moon is in my natal 2nd house (monies), but in the radical 5th (speculation), she is in her own face and applies to the body of Jupiter, who is the lord of the 5th and in his own sign and in the face of the Moon, and who is dispositor of the Sun (lord of day, hour and ascendant). Jupiter gathers dignities on the radical ascendant by face.

The 2nd house has Regulus on its cusp and is located in the terms and face of Mars. Mars is lord of the MC and located on the cusp of the 7th. The Moon will translate the virtue of Mars, lord of 10th, to Jupiter who is lord of the 5th.

We will have to wait and see whether any of this comes useful.

Well, I have selected a second time window, or rather election, for entering this Saturday's lotto in Norway. I'm particulary interested in this first coming Saturday because my Year Point will be crossing Jupiter in his own terms at 10SC21 in my Solar return. My natal Ascendant is 11SC28! Jupiter is the ruler of the 2nd and 5th house in my nativity, and in the Solar return the cusp of the 2nd is 10CN02. That makes Jupiter almuten of the 2nd cusp by term and exaltation. Since my Year point entered Scorpio, which contains Solar Return Jupiter, both the last two lotto draws have actually resulted in hits - although the 6 winning numbers of March 8. is the definate highlight so far.

The moment chosen is March 12., time 18.51 LT (17.51 GMT), Asker 59N50, 10E26 http://www.astronor.com/ENTRY5.GIF

The radical Ascendant is 28VI52. The cusp of my natal 5th house is 29PI50 and I have decided to make this angular and put it on the Descendant. The radical Descendant is also the location of the approaching Solar eclipse of March 19. at 28PI07. To add 'kick' to this chart, notice how the Moon is within 30' of her conjunction with Pluto and located quite precisely on the IC.

Now the election is made for the Day of the Moon, the Hour of Venus and with Virgo on the radical Ascendant. The Moon, who is Ruler of the Day, casts her square through signs of long ascension to the Ascendant. Venus, who is Lady of the Hour and ruler of the 2nd house, is located in her own face in Aries in the 8th. The chart is proven radical by her applying sextile to Mercury, who is lord of both Asc. and MC, and who is dignified by triplicity in the 5th house of speculation. There is thus an agreement between the Lady of the Hour and the lord of the Ascendant and the planets are given relevant rulerships and locations.
Mercury applies to my natal Moon at 27AQ56, the latter also being trine the Midheaven.

The Jupiter/Saturn midpoint is placed on the cusp of the 2nd house. The cusp of the 3rd house (tickets and tags) is in trine Uranus and the Moon's North Node and ruled by Mars, who is 11AQ09 and on the cusp of the 5th and squares my natal Ascendant at 11SC28.

I have come up with no positive conclusions as how to winning numbers can be 'manipulated' or deducted in advance, but the experiments put forward try to show how one may co-operate with coincidence.

What a disappointment and how interesting! 5 of my prime numbers came up, but I had got the wrong spread and luck gave no aid. Back to studying the election that scored so well on March 8. Maybe my lack of planets in Sagittarius in my radix(election Moon in Sagittarius) had something to do with it.

Election for the lotto draw March 24. 2007:
For this week I elected March 20., time 11.26 LT (10.26 GMT), Asker 59N50 10E26 http://www.astronor.com/ENTRY6.GIF

This chart is cast for the day of Mars and hour of Saturn with Cancer ascending. The chart is made radical by the lady of ascendant, the Moon, in the same triplicity as the lord of the hour, Saturn, and the Moon and Saturn form a Grand Trine with Jupiter, who has his exaltation on the ascendant. The chart shows a kite with Mars applying to the opposition of Saturn. Mars is lord of the day and has dignities in the ascendant by triplicity, and the opposition is migrated through the intervention and harminious translation of the Moon.

The Moon applies to the cusp of the 11th house and is disposed by Mars, who is in the 8th house and disposed by Saturn, who once again is lord of the hour and located in the 2nd house. Spica is on the cusp of the Libra 5th with ruler Venus intercepted in the 11th house in her own sign and in the exaltation degree of the Moon. However, Saturn, lord of the hour, is once again the key planet since he is almuten of the cusp of the 5th house by exaltation and triplicity. Saturn is disposed by the Sun at 29PI26 in the 10th house, which plays on to the cusp of my natal 5th house at 29PI50. Besides, I find it auspiscious that the Sun is about to cross the Vernal Equinox and enter into the sign of his exaltation.

Uranus is in the exact minute of the North Node in this chart and culiminating in the 10th. The MC at 13PI12 plays to my radix Chiron at 13PI35 - as I would hope that this was a key-moment and stirr up an 'act of fate'.

The radical Ascendant at 24CN30 does by antiscia play to the cusp of my radix 8th at 5GE45. The Moon at 18AR10 moves in on my natal Jupiter at 19AR28, which is the ruler of my 2nd and 5th houses, and most important I have placed the Part of Fortune at 13LE13 in the 2nd house, which is conjunct my natal Sun at 13LE21. The election of March 1. which gave 6 out of 7 winning numbers and a return of nearly £700,- had the Moon at 13LE05 ( http://www.astronor.com/ENTRY2.GIF ). This time I play Fortuna to this point and see how that works out.

The Entry: 10 single rows for 5 weeks, 20 single rows for this first coming Saturday only.

Has anyone taken a look at this piece of software?

http://www.luckydays.tv/index.html

I thought that the premise was intersting, not the planetary positions themselves but the "conditions" that the planetary aspects were in and coming out of.

They do have a sample 3 month chart. Perhaps, Andrew you can compare that chart with the charts you've been drawing and let us know whether it was up to snuff. I tried the chart for lotto and "no joy"

Hi Cooljazz,
The service provided on the link you provided seemed rather basic, but harmless. The win I had on March 3. of almost £700 does not coincide with any lucky day warning issued by this report. The idea of a free transit report to look into portions of luck experienced is not all that bad, although the methods I am putting to test through election astrology are more specific in design. I am finding this activity interesting at present but not conclusive. Another significant winning should turn up soon as to indicate that the 3rd prize with 6 out of 7 winning numbers on March 3 (the election of March 1.) was not just a fluke hit.

Another small win!!
This weeks election gave a 5th prize with 4 winning numbers out of 7, plus 1 supporting number which makes out the prize (4+1). Odds 1:138 But the 5th prize is no more than NOK kr.55,- ( or GP £ 5,- ) , just slightly better than break-even and not really the sort of money I am looking for. There are easier ways of picking up an ice-cream.

Since this experiment started with the first election published in advance on Jan 27. 2007, we have gathered 5 wins: 1-3rd prize, 1-4th prize and 3-5th prizes. The first election lasted for 5 weeks through February and didn't attract anything. March has attracted 5 collectings. That is if you want to count the 5th prize as in any way worth while! Confused

The election of March 1. ( http://www.astronor.com/ENTRY2.GIF ) stands out in several ways. I find it interesting that the entry was made both on the day and hour of Jupiter, and the Moon was exact conjunct my natal Sun. There are other connections too, which makes the interpretation of that particular election chart worth while studying. There will be new opportunities to re-test this stuff out as we go along.

Regards
Andrew

You seem to be doing well Andrew, much better than I was able to do.
Anway, thought you might like to know my experiences so far with this area.

I identified two windows of opportunity in 2006, around June and in October/November. During those periods only I bought scratch cards and lottery tickets mainly at elected times. In the first period all purchases were directly from shop terminals but second period I also opened a account into which I deposited money.

Briefly these were my findings:
On elected times for scratch cards I was slightly beating the odds but not making money and had no large wins – just regular small ones
When I purchased at unelected times I had slightly less ( but probably not statistically significantly) success but found that Jupiter was often prominent in the charts when I checked later. This may be because Jupiter generally represents the optimistic impulse to gamble or because it is either the ruler of or in my 2nd house (depending on house systems).

I did not win anything on the regular lottery in the June period. However I did have one very interesting experience. On one occasion I bought tickets for the Euro lottery and the ordinary UK one at the same time and 4 out of 5 of my numbers on the Euro lottery were identical to the ones on the regular lottery. I didn’t win but it suggested that there was something interesting going on. Rather as Andrew discovered in one of his purchases.

I did win one small amount on the Euro lottery in the November from an account purchase. But again no big wins.

I did elect a perfect time to purchase one ticket based on a combination of the election and my chart. It was 6.36 am in the morning and I thought if I set my alarm for early and got up and bought a ticket them through my on-line account I might win big. However distractions the evening before resulted in me waking at around 7am as I had forgotten to set the alarm. So I concluded that yes the election was good but it just isn’t in my chart to win that big!

So my conclusions so far.
Better chance on winning on the scratch cards ( or .eg. casino gambling) as there is only one moment to consider – with lottery draws I think it might be that one has to get a ticket purchase chart that resonates with the lottery draw as well as being a good election in itself.

Natal charts will out – if you are not going to be a billionaire based on you chart it will catch you out and stop you acting on a great election.

And based on my experience elsewhere ( see my horary thread) the time of setting up an on line account appears to be relevant for how easy it is to operate that account but not to the potential for winning from suitably elected individual purchases/deals.

I haven’t done enough elections to test whether 2nd house or 5th is better. I notice Andrew you are using 5th, although Element suggested 2nd as the main target and Frawley is sceptical about 5th as money making house too. There is no question in my mind that 5th represents gambling as a leisure activity I am just not yet certain about the financial side of it.

When I was on my way to enter the coupons on the most recent election I realized that the Moon in Aries might appreciate the entry coming from a high place. There is a steep hill where I live, amost a kilometre long, with one commisioner at the top, another at the bottom. Unfortunately, there was not time to reach the commisioner at the top so I ended up at a rather Saturnian store instead. It felt wrong. I think these factors may be added to the design - if you are out looking for a lucky streak and can spot them.

As for scratch tickets - give it a try when the lord of the hour is exalted in the ascendant and see if that enchances your fortune. Ie. Cancer rising in the hour of Jupiter. My conception tells me that this enchances the competitive edge of the querent.

Andrew, I've been re-reading your posts... for clarification, are you susggesting that the election be compatible with the Draw time?

as in say the moment of the draw the ascendent is Cancer, so the moment of purchase should have Moon in good aspect? or?

I'm not quite certain I follow your discussion there, trying to think this through.

I think you are right about looking at the draw chart and see how you can make the purchase time be compatable with the draw time. that makes sense, but then should also be good with your chart?

the too electional charts I have looked at with big wins, the first one has ruler of 5th, moon, in fifth, conj ruler of 3rd, Venus. In fact 5th house is packed. and third house has Saturn on cusp and Jupiter within, she won a car on slots, Jupiter rules 10th cusp and 1st. Saturn 11 and 12. this chart is in Joann Hampar's book on elections. she looks at things modernly so I read it a bit different than she, but to me I see lord of 1 adn 10 in 3rd, lady of 3 and 8 in 5th and Lady of 5th in fifth.

second one (same book) shows the NN on the ascendent, 12 Leo 33,
Venus in First, rules 3 and 10 here. ruler of 5th is jupiter and is on MC exactly, ruler of second is mercury, and is in 3rd... I found it intersting both charts had a 3rd house connection? in this case it is a sagitarius person who was on vacation when gambling won over 7,000.00 US dollars on slot machines. Oh and transiting sun is on the 3rd house cusp as well, rules this chart. mutual reception between sun and venus.
Moon in Aries in ninth, square NN, but will trine Venus in a few hours. Moon also in opposition to our Mercury here? this chart is also from Joann's book. Page 77.

I'm trying to see if I can't find more of these types of charts.
I wonder why 3rd house was important in both these charts, for the first with car being prize I can understand, the second? both were slot machines? I wonder if that has a role?

Granny

ps, is it proper to post the data from these charts? they are from the book Im discussing. is so i'm happy to post time, date location of charts for discussion purposes, if not will not of course. Granny

Hi Granny,
Your questions and observations intrigue me. But first, I have not been comparing the elections chart with the moment of the draw, but rather with the radix of the native, which in this case has been myself.

I cannot outrule that the moment of the draw is important, although I have not come up with anything conclusive in this direction, yet. However, it will be natural to carry the discussion in this direction as we go along. I will be posting an election on Thursday which will introduce some new ideas and then we will see how that goes along, but I want to get the chart in place first. ( In any case remember, missing is easy - hitting is hard! )

It is my aim to try to establish a case for the lord of the hour and it's relationship with the radical acendant and it's lord - but even here I will want to do some exploring by giving priority to the relationship between the lord of the hour and i.e. the 5th house and it's lord - in relationship to the quest of speculation. But again this lies further out into our exploration.

If the lord of the hour is exalted in the ascendant, it is my opinion that this fortifies any venture of competition, or maybe speculation. I have spent several years keeping track of the weekly time pockets that provide this opportunity. Cancer rising in the hour of Jupiter is a natural favourite, but it could equally include Libra rising in the hour of Saturn, Pisces rising in the hour of Venus, etc. I am extremely fascinated with the relationship that the lord of the hour forms with the radical ascendant and it's lord. I do believe this is a key which has been much overlooked in modern astrology. It is important to know when the relevant merchant is in 'office', so to speak. There is no point in knocking at the butcher's door if what you want is really a loaf of bread. Or, do you visit the undertaker (Saturn) if you are contemplating having a baby?

Now, you mention something about the 3rd house. This interests me and I have been dabbling into the same questions. To succeed in gambling we have been told to fortify the ascendant (the querent) , the 5th house (game & play), the 2nd house (my money) and the 8th (other peoples' monies). At the same time a fortified 10th house is always an advantage, and the 11th house or it's lord, which remains one of my personal favourites. However, when it comes to winning say the lottery, this obviously involves fortune in the draw of either numbers or a ticket, which certainly involves the 3rd house. Or could it be that winning the lotto is so far fetched that it actually could involve searching for a hidden treasure, represented by the fourth house. After all, perceiving the winning line of a lotto draw is about as far away from an illuminated perception of the self as you can get. I might add to the muddle, because although I never would consider fortifying the 12th house (Ha-ha! What on Earth would be the point of that!!!?), I did in many settings involving the stock market consider that luck in this department was often based upon the cooperation of the elements (or collective..whatever...) and represented by the 12th.

Now the election chart of March 1. shows an angular Mars, which is on the cusp of the descendant, and which accidentally (Morinus) is ruler of the 5th house. Remember - this chart had lots of things going for it, but it certainly paid up!

OK, so back to the beginning... I am not essentially suggesting that the election has to be based upon an agreement with the chart of the draw, rather with the radix of the native who makes the entry. I am also suggesting that any week has it's favourable season, which is variable and in consistance with the annual calendar, i.e, the auspiscious intervals vary from week to week - as do the relationship and time windows provided by the realtionship between the lord of the hour and the radical ascendant or it's lord. It is my suspision that the money follows the people, the natives or time windows - and not the numbers in particular. With that I mean it seems to be working at the wrong end of the stick if to postulate the numbers to be picked out of a hat at any given point in time. I am much more interested in observing a law of coincidence - if anything like this should exist.

There are different kinds of speculative ventures. Scratch tickets and slot-machines (instincively I hate the latter) all happens there and then (except if you take your scratch ticket home with you to scratch it at a favourable moment - then you have to decide whether the time of purchase was important or the moment of uncovering - I would prefer the first).

Now although I hit a golden run during a stock market crash in 1997 I never won anything significant in a lottery prior to the example provided based upon the election issued for March 1. I guess my idea is that if astrology is supposed to have anything about it, then astrologers are supposed to have an advantage in matters of this concern - and then it will be worth unravelling. In which case there should go too long a time before before another evidential case andwin turns up. I hope you continue to show interest in the elections which, by the way, are posted prior to the draw.

Regards
Andrew

I'm very interested in the election.

I noted that my natal Jupiter is in 5th house and in own sign, but actual ruler of my fifth is Saturn in 4th in Aquarius... if you are right about 4th being good for for lotto numbers (I know you were joking a bit) then saturn in his temple in the fourth in his own sign ought to be some help! I would think? though maybe it just means I should invest in oil and other hidden treasure... Wink

I actually think that the few weeks leading up to my solar return look like decent opportunities (next couple of weeks, my natal day is 13 april) but must continue trying to deduce what the proper time is for these purchases. my local lotto person is open 24 hours as she owns a donut store... =) usually I just purchase the tickets when I buy a cup of coffee, but ... I see no reason why I can't align it with a proper time?

Let us know if you notice any change in the coffee Thumbs up

This week I chose to register my lotto entry for the draw on Saturday March 31. at time 20.10 LST (18.10 GMT), March 28. 2007, Asker 59N50, 10E26. http://www.astronor.com/ENTRY7.GIF

This is done on the day of Mercury in the hour of the Sun with Libra in the ascendant. There is no direct relationship between the lord of the hour and the radical ascendant or it's ruler, however, I put the Sun in an opposition aspect to the ascendant, which should qualify, and the Moon is in an exact square with the lady of the ascendant, who is Venus, and in sextile with the ascendant.

The winning election from March 1. had the Moon at 13LE05, which played to my natal Sun at 13LE21. This time I try to copy that position by letting the Moon be at 13LE03, although the make-up of this chart is quite different. Both the Moon and the position of Venus 13TA02 will play onto my radix Sun. The Moon applies to the body of Saturn who is ruler of the 5th and is exalted in the ascendant, and trine Jupiter in the 3rd (of tickets and numbers). I let the cusp of the 5th house be 27 Aquarius because it is the position of my natal Moon at 27AQ56. Pluto in the 3rd house also casts his sextile to the cusp of the 5th. My radix MC at 27LE37 is on the cusp of the 11th in the election chart.

The ascendant of the election is 11LI21. I said in a previous post that I would try something different this time round, so I entered the coupon a little early to 1) catch the opposition between the Sun (lord of hour) and the ascendant, and 2) by directing the ascendant by a degree a day the ascendant will come to 14 Libra on the eve of the draw and this is conjunct the antiscia of Uranus and the north node that are located in the 5th house of the election. I am hoping that this direction may add a little extra excitement to the chart or rather that winning 'spark'. Uranus and the north node in the 5th are trine the MC. Fortuna at 6GE00 is on the cusp of my radix 8th at 5GE45, and that is about it. We'll see if it works out.

One small win
Last weeks entry gave no joy on Saturday, but a random coupon entered for the Viking Lotto draw of Wednesday April 4. picked up a 5th prize and slightly better than return of money. Odds were 1:53. I consider this as interesting but neither impressive or convincing because the most outstanding feature of last weeks chart was the Moon within minutes of it's position in the election chart of March 1. (that went off with a 3rd prize of over NOK kr. 7200,- or almost GP £ 700,-) and with closeness to my natal Sun at 13LE21. What might be considered as interesting was that entering into the Viking Lotto for Wednesday was no pre-planned act on my part. So coincidence got to adding a touch.

I made the election for next weeks draw (to be held on Saturday April 7.) at time 10.38 LST (08.38 GMT), April 2. 2007, Asker, Norway 59N50 10E26 http://www.astronor.com/ENTRY8.GIF

I actually made a mistake here which could be rather interesting to follow because I shot off down to the bookie trying to catch the hour of Jupiter with Cancer rising. When I got back and checked the chart it proved to be the hour of Mars. Mars rules the ascendant by triplicity and is in his own terms and culiminating on the Midheaven. I like it when coincidences or mistakes give a aiding hand - and provide a case still worth watching.

The ascendant is in 14CN46, in the degree of Jupiter's exaltation and exact trine the North Node in the 10th at 14PI50. The lady of the ascendant, the Moon, is 8LI20 in the 5th house in her own face and the full moon lies only hours ahead. The Sun is 12AR14 in the fortunate 11th house in his exaltation, triplicity and face. He is closing in on a trine to my natal Sun at 13LE21. My natal Moon is at 27AQ56 which agrees with the location of lord of the hour, Mars, at 26AQ56 and the MC at 28AQ05.

We'll see how this works out. My plan is to check out how entries work in the hour of Jupiter with Cancer rising (I missed on that this time). The step after that will be repeating an entry in the hour of Jupiter with the sign of my natal Sun on the ascendant. This is another feature found in the successful election of March 1. Mars happens to be the ruler of my natal asc. and it will be interesting to see whether placing this planet on an angle increases my ability to make a strike.
