Tme Confusion 1 by Gem This sounds so dumb but I'm confused I want to draw up the charts of UEFA Chmpionship matches. The official UEFA website gives 20:45 CET for the kick-off time. CET is Central European Time, which is GMT + one hour. I know the matches kicking off in Britain start at 19:45 (18:45 GMT ). GMT(18:45) + 1 hour will be 19:45, not 20:45 ?? I have to do the charts taking place elsewhere in Europe such as Rome, Porto, Milan and Barcelona. Can I use the 18:45 GMT for these charts too? Then I get the kick-off time as late as at 21:45 local time for the Shakhtar/Celtic match at Donetsk. Please someone help me please!! 2 by Goca This is the way I do: I always draw the chart for local time. If I am interested in some match I go to official web site of that home team and on their site I find advertisement for that match where I see the kick off time. Than I draw the chart for coordinates of that place and local time. Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ Quote Tue Sep 18, 2007 6:56 am
3 by Gem Goca Thank you so much for your suggestion. It's so difficult to figure out the local time from that CET, I'm going to complain to the UEFA. There seems to be no other way but to find the website of each team to find the local kick-off time. I hope I'll be able to find them all by tonight's matches. Quote Tue Sep 18, 2007 9:03 am
4 by Gem I've found a good site: www.timeanddate.com, which Ficina gave us a while ago. I visited there only briefly yesterday, in a hurry, just to find out what CET stood for. So the Shakhtar/Celtic match still appears to be taking place at 9:45... Quote Tue Sep 18, 2007 9:27 am
5 by Goca Yes, I use that site very often, but sometimes thay do not have data for all places, so www.astro.com is second one which I use. Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ Quote Tue Sep 18, 2007 10:09 am

9 by Gem I thought reading your post that there's some sort of a time converter available at the astro.com, like the one at the www.timeandate.com Quote Wed Sep 19, 2007 11:08 am
