Houses in relationships ?

1
Hi Folks,

I'm NOT too interested in using Astrology for relationships but a friend of mine recently got divorced and I said if he finds a new woman then I'll give their data the once over.

Personnally, I go for planetary geometry and NOT much more but I've got to thinking that the position of the Sun in the relevant charts by House must be VERY significant.

For example I'm 7th house sun so simply I'd say that a partner with 11th or 3rd house (trine) or 5th or 9th (sextile) would be good people for me after I'd considered their own Sun Sign.

I appreciate it's only one part but I'd say an important one.

Anything to add ?

H.
Yikkes!

Wouldn't it also depend on the Ascendant and placement of the planets in each individual chart? I mean, you have a 7th house Sun, (say in Scorpio; that give you a Taurus ascendant) and you meet someone with a 3rd house Sun in Aquarius (that gives them a Sagittarius ascendant). Your Suns are squared, and the Ascendants are problematic, regardless of the 'trine' between house placements. So how do you figure?
