Chelsea Record Run comes to an End

1
Chelsea with 86 Premiership games at Stamford Bridge without Loss

Chelsea lost 0-1 to Liverpool at Stamfield Bridge on Saturday. This closed their record run of 86 Premiership games at home without a loss. This feat is so impressive I am putting three charts on show. The most interesting is definately Chart no. 2, which is the initiating chart for Chelsea's record run of defending the fort, but by nature, before this record sequence could commence there was a loss and the record of 86 successful defences is also broken by a loss. Chelsea's loss prior to their record run was a 1-2 defeat to Arsenal on February 21. 2004. This game started at 13.30 GMT.

Chart 1. Feb. 21. 2004, 13.30 GMT. Chelsea - Arsenal 1-2

Then at 16.00hrs on March 20. 2004 Chelsea hosted Fulham. The guests were sent home with a 2-1 loss as the Blue's started upon their record run. This chart is interesting because it is played on the day of the Vernal Equinox. During this day there is a New Noon in the first degree of Aries, so the day holds great potency and significance and Mars, who is the lord of this New Moon, is culiminating in the chart in the 30th degree of Taurus. This is conjunct the Pleiades.

I've got a thread in the Traditional Techniques section called "Pleiades - Aladdin's Lamp". The culimination of Mars with the Pleiades in the chart that initiates Chelsea's home defence record should be noted, because this is something along the lines of magic that I discuss in the Pleades-thread. Pleiades might show something that is bottled up, but the constellation has something to do with releasing the Genie from the bottle and performing something that is nothing short of a miracle. More than 4 years should pass before Chelsea should to loose another Premiership game at Stamford Bridge.

On Saturday October 26th, Liverpool visited the well-guarded Stamford Bridge. The game started at 13.30 GMT. In the 10th minute Xabi Alonso sent the ball into the net and took a 1-0 lead for Reds. Cheslea never managed to equalize.

Chart 3. Oct 26. 2008, 13.30 GMT. Chelsea - Liverpool 0-1

There are some interesting features in this chart. While the Sun was in the first degree of Aries (which is the sign of the Sun's exaltation) when the series of undefeat commenced, here the Sun is in the very degree of the fall of the Moon. The Moon was in Pisces when Chelsea last lost a game at home, which was to Arsenal, but on October 26. 2008 the balance is toppled by the Moon in Libra - which is the antiscia sign of Pisces as both lie just south of the equator.

However, the most interesting detail of this chart is in my opinion the 30th degree of Scorpio on the Midheaven. This is a close reversal of Chart 2 which initiated Chelsea 'holding the Castle', or defending 'the Bridge', as it were. With 30 degrees Scorpio on the MC in this defeat chart, this moves the 30th degree of Taurus with Mars joined to Pleiades from the MC in the initiating chart to the North. Thus, with the Pleiades in the North the magic of Chelsea was buried, at least for a while, as the Genie of the Lamp once again returned to the Bottle..
