syzygy

1
Anyone use it?

I have done a little research into it and found some interesting results for pre natal syzygy. But the more tempting conclusions are from the post natal syzygy, especially from Solar Eclipses.

I would like to ask how you use this data, what you use and what you don?t use. Obviously the "syzygy" is one point. But then there is an entire chart which surrounds that point too. I don?t think that the chart can be ignored, and then there must I am sure be some form of synastry made between this and the natal, midpoints etc.

Thanks

The sizygy is very important because the birthchart depends on the sizygy like every particular cause derives from a general cause, so it shows an inclination of native to the good or to evil.

Anyway sizygy is not just important just for the degree where it falls, but as in mundane astrology, we should look which is its ruler, i.e. the planet has more rights on this point and on the following angle. (i.e the next angle in the order of signs).

This is the same we do in order to calculate "animodar", a way of rectifying birth time, but I'm sure it's very known. See for example glossary in this site:

Margherita,

Thank you for that input. I am still learning, and I didn?t know about the importance of sygyzy dispositor. Much appreciated.

The degree influence is quite obvious, it shows up by aspect.

But this Animodar method of Rectification I have some logical questions to ask about. I find it interesting.

The sygyzy will in effect be used for all births between one lunation and the next within a period of 14 days. All people born in this 14 day period, (even in the same locality) do not have the exact same degree rising, or the same degree on the Midheaven. They may do...? Who knows. ; )

In fact it was the same objection Gerolamo Vitali did in Lexicon Mathematicum (1668-1690).

It seems to me that because of this he choosed Placidus' way to calculate the Animodar, i.e. using in mundo aspects, hourly distances from the planet to MC or Asc.

I was early instructed on the prenatal eclipse -- so the prenatal syzygy could be treated in a like manner.

The pne was supposed be address one's life's mission -- figure out the date of maturation in your (converse) progressed chart -- note your age at this maturation -- of course the degree & house of the lunation for context &c

I worked out a technique I call the Dianic Code (published article in 1999 re same in now defunct American Astrology)

get a list of all your prenatal lunations for say 3 to 4 months -- and equivalent number early life lunations -- determine progressed date of maturation & your age -- relist both prenatal & post natal lunations according to progressed date -- note carefully if it is a new moon (initiation) or full moon (realization) event & correlate with your life as lived to date

That's how I use it

Yes, I believe so.
And there are several methods too.
I've just posted in my blog the method given by Giuseppe Bezza in CieloeTerra site and called "isaritmia" or gates of passage.

It's not exactly a translation, I used their example but I did all calculations too.

MAybe it could be of some interest, I think many lovers of ascensions :( can be interested in it.

I don?t think I get it...
Lovers of Right and Oblique ascensions.

Anyway I'm not between them. When I'm in my astrology class- lessons are given by one of CieloeTerra founders- I always quarrel for my right to use longitudes!

But I'm sure traditional astrology world is full of them ;)
