I read somewhere that if your first sighting of the crescent new Moon is not through glass it is an omen of good luck. I had my first view of the current crescent Moon through the wire mesh of the screen door. Can I hope for more than no flies in the house for the next few weeks? Or do you think that the screen is enough to deflect even that modest bit of luck? Actually, having no flies would be lucky with the current state of the screen door. Perhaps clues could be had from identifying the ruling planet of wire mesh. And that would be....?
