That's because people believe they will find discussion on sport, etymology, and the World Cup - how dissapointed they must be when they leave.
The octopus story is holding up well though. Its quite satisfying that a creature which really doesn't care - not in the way that I don't care, because I don't care with a passion involved - can act as a font of knowledge on this matter. That's if he's still getting it right. What I've learned out of all this is that having an eclipse of the Sun that is visible in South America on the day of the world cup is not a good sign for the South American nations, and that my dreams of England winning the world cup are as meaningless as everyone else's dreams of England winning the world cup. |

About the eclipse, that was my first reaction as well. When I heard there was a visible eclipse in our continent, I thought "that can not be a good thing... at all". Eclipses are never a good omen... _________________ Paulo Felipe Noronha |

Yeah, but I though that the eclipse would mean that a country of south america would go to the final and then lose in big fashion....
other factor that may had a saying is the current mars-saturn conjunction in virgo. virgo is said to rule most of countries in latinamerica _________________ Meu blog de astrologia (em portugues) http://yuzuru.wordpress.com

So did I Yuzuru. I never had an opinion on who would win, but because of this I thought Argentina would lose in the final. Ah so ... |

This might be the chance to bring the two back together: Octopus / Octotopos.
Maybe the octopus has been communicating with Patrice Guinard?

If I wasn't a vegetarian I would be considering some good old haruspicy at this point. _________________ If you never change your mind, why have one?

When you have time have a look at charts here:
http://www.astrosoftware.com/WimRulership.htm
Interesting talk about dispositor based conjunctions.Never heard of these before.
It seems venus debilitated and rising before sun makes you a good soccer fan and Mercury rising after sun with a heavy dose of Mars makes one a good humorous sport astrology writer, absence of these makes you shoot people and then shoot yourself (own goal).
