Walter Gorn Old (Sepharial) died in 1929. Yet in “his” book Hebrew Astrology, “he” talks about events that took place in the 1950s and even 1960s. Could anybody shed light on this discrepancy? Has the book been written by someone else? But its language, tone and style are quite characteristic of Sepharial.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Hi Mansoor

Kim Farnell wrote an article about this:

The Seven Faces of Raphael - http://www.skyscript.co.uk/raphael.html

Quote:
Astrologers speak of the works of Raphael as if they were all penned by one person. However, there were seven astrologers carrying the name of Raphael during the nineteenth century. Why did they choose the name 'Raphael', and who were these astrologers? This article seeks to disentangle the knotted threads.

Hello Deb,

Yes, I had enjoyed reading that piece. So if I have understood you correctly, you are saying that the phenomenon of multiple identity which applies to Raphael applies to Sepharial too?

Regards,

Mansoor
