Electing times for starting a weight loss programme 1 by Larxene What kind of chart would you recommend to a client who wants to find a good time to start losing weight? I am thinking perhaps an angular Ascendant Lord (more physically active), and maybe a waning Moon, making sure to avoid strong influences from Jupiter (he tends to make people gain weight, in my opinion). Opinions, anyone? Interested in Hellenistic astrology? Visit my blog. The appearance changes, but the essence remains. Quote Tue Jul 08, 2014 5:28 am
2 by james_m hi larxene, cool question.. i would think about making saturn strong - moon applying trine or sextile saturn as well, and keeping jupiter away from the ascendant. i think you need to emphasize a part of the natal chart in the election that you think is capable of producing the results you are looking for. i generally think of saturn as losing something and jupiter as gaining something. in this case i believe saturn is your friend and jupiter interferes with the goal.. so, that is what i would be doing.. it might be taking the ascendant lord and having it apply by positive aspect to saturn, or set ups like that.. good luck and let us know what you come up with. thanks. 3 by Larxene Interesting. That does sound rational. That means that we'd have to avoid the Saturn retrograde period, as they would indicate instability or delays in losses. lol in this case loss is a good thing, though usually we want to avoid it.
