Frawley hasn't changed the original text at all, he has simply reprinted it; where he has revised his opinions, he has inserted one or more paragraphs as commentary beneath the original text. This makes it very easy for the reader to see how his views on specific issues have changed (which, as he notes in his introduction to the revised edition, have been toward greater simplicity).

Thanks Astraea.
Is there enough simplification for the book too be bought again. If there is (not)enough then Frawley should just put a pdf file on his website with all the annotations.

For me, the revision was a disappointment because his move toward simplification diminished nuance. I read through the revisions in about an hour, and regretted spending the money on a second version of the first book. As you suggest, a pdf file on his website would have been sufficient (in my opinion).
