Sun conjunct Saturn - 16 February 2023

1
On February 16, 2023 the Sun will conjunct Saturn in Aquarius, at its most distant from the Earth.
"If Saturn could be observed at this time, it would appear at its smallest and faintest on account of its large distance."

In 'The Prophetic Nature of Dreams: Moon, Sun and Saturn Man'
(Rudolf Steiner, 22 June 1915)
He says:
"And then we have in us a Saturn who is completely dead, as dead as a stone. We have the Sun in us who is asleep and also Saturn who is at an even lower level of consciousness, below the level of consciousness we have in sleep. Saturn I'd say, is our oldest cause, the innermost core in us. All the knowledge man gains at the present time in external life or in science is gained because the external world influences the Saturn in us. We are not aware of being influenced in this way, but we are nevertheless influenced. Everything we think, feel and will penetrates to Saturn. And Saturn is what finally remains of us on this earth, irrespective of whether we are cremated as far as our physical body is concerned or whether we decompose."
--------------
Saturn in our chart indicates where we can reach 'mastery', what we spend most of our life polishing the stone we inherited. With the Sun conjunct Saturn, there is an opportunity to be reborn in our long-term goals and find new structures in our life.
Turkey is the best example right now. When Saturn becomes Cazimi to the Sun, what is left is the core of our life and what will remain of us when we are no longer here.
We are closing a chapter.

A friend sent me an email yesterday with these questions...
What makes us so interested in Astrology?
What did we bring with us in the descent from Heaven to Earth?
What was sown in our Soul?
And what will we bring to Heaven from Earth?
What shall we say to the stars?
Blessings!
