Decennial

Howdy all

I know I`m in Jupiter Firdaria at the moment, but not sure about which decennial. I heard it`s 10 years and a few months for each planet. I wonder if anyone can help. I was born in February 1962 by day

Thanks in advance

Hello Jack,

It is 10 years and 9 months for all planets, but these "years" and "months", according to experts, are not the same as our modern conception of them. Rather, 1 year = 360 days, and 1 month => 1/12 of a 360-day year => 30 days.

It's easier to calculate your decennials with software, but if you insist, you can do it by hand. The birth time is really needed to do this properly, because we need to determine which hyleg or apheta to start with: the Sun, the Moon or the Ascendant. This is actually the harder part, especially when your two lights are in certain houses.

I can tell you which nth planet has primary rulership though. Each planet has primary rulership for 10 years and 9 months. Convert this to days, we get 3870 days. Each modern year has 365 days + 1 day every four years.

Let's assume you were born in February 1, 1962. You would be 52 years and several months old. Let's figure out how many days this amounts to.

2014 is not a leap year. From Feb 1, 2014 to today, Nov 26, 2014, we have: 28+31+30+31+30+31+31+30+31+26 = 299 days.

52 years means 365*52 = 18,980. Now let's add the leap days. Your age is convenient because 52/4 = 13, a round number. When we get a round number, the number of leap years is always exactly that number. So the number of leap days is also exactly that number, which is 13.

So the total number of days starting from your "birth" of Feb 1 is: 18,980 + 299 + 13 = 19292 days.

Now, 19292/3870 = 4.985...

This means that you are in your 5th planet's period, but it's ending soon. If you were born in Feb 1, in 58 days, you will move into your 6th planet's period. But this depends on your actual birth date in February.

The second level time lord is harder (or rather, more troublesome) to calculate, so I will only do the primary one here. Hopefully I got the math right.
