I don't hold back when applying the logic of Astrology.

Translation is more of a Horary idea I feel but if so then it'd have some effect in my Top Down High Level Ongoing Rolling Analysis.

I have seen something like Translation work. Pluto and Uranus were forming a square. The Geopolitical situation and Financial Markets were deteriorating at a steady rate, then along cam Mars and aspected Uranus then Pluto. Translating the Light from one to another.

THE WHOLE THING WENT CWAZY Mate ! BOOM !

But when you read up on Translation as far as I can see the heavier planets don't have to be forming an aspect with each other, or it can be a separating aspect.

I'm NOT even sure if Faster moving planet has to form recognised aspects to the Heavier ones.

[I think the ONLY real thing is that the Faster and Heavier planets have to be in Orb of course.]

My feel then is that there is nearly always Translation going on.

I've also read that the Faster moving planet may NOT necessarily translate the Light if it doesn't like the planets involved. I suppose fair enough.

We then have to quantify to what degree Translation affects things.

So any ideas ? Any experiences to share ?

OK so Debbie on this website goes for the stricter meaning. Effectively two Heavier or Slower planets are forming and aspect, and along comes a third Quicker or Lighter planet and effectively jumps between the two by aspect.

I think there is a question of whether the third planet is translating harmony or distress ?

Pity I didn't read this first ....
