Does this aspect necessarily mean no children? I was just advised this by an astrologer and I hate to think it's true. I have conceived 3 times and lost three times. I know I have a rotten chart but my greatest dream and highest value is to have a family (husband and child). This is the first time anyone has said that the void moon in the end of the 4th house (at 28.xx degrees so basically at a critical degree) means no kids. Ever.

My Moon is separating from a trine (it's part of a grand trine) that is formed by Saturn Rx in the 12th and Venus Rx in the 7th. [i know...] So it is separating from Saturn, that's its last aspect.

Does anyone have examples of having read charts with this or knowing people with this aspect? Is it accurate that it means no children ever?

Sorry you have had this experience. No, that is definitely not a reliable judgment to make - especially if based on these points alone. The separation from Saturn could be descriptive of delays or complications (including miscarriages) but need not prevent the prospect of later success. Many astrologers would consider my Moon to be VOC in the 4th but I had plenty of children. You might be better consulting with an astrologer who specialises in fertility cycles and pregnancy related issues than with someone who tries to make absolute or deterministic predictions.
Also, you probably don't have a "rotten" chart either - it signifies something about your attunement to the cosmos. Think of it as your melody, which is maybe a little richer than most because of the enhancement of those deeper/darker notes.

Thanks Deb for the reply. It must not be the VOC moon then. But I do wonder if Saturn or something else in my chart is a solid "No never" in terms of children. Conceiving is not a problem for me. Getting lucky with the sperm and having a healthy male is the problem (and thus carrying to term without early loss). I've consulted (paid) a "fertility" astrologer and I was proud to see that my own predictions for last year coincided with hers. she gave me time frames for the next few years but that's for conception..it doens't guarantee the "carry through" which is what I'm starting to wonder about. I wish there was a way to see that in a chart...

I'm no expert in this topic but it would be good to observe if it is a day or a night chart. If it is a day chart Saturn automatically becomes less malefic in his effects. Also is the Moon waxing or waning? Firmicus Maternus seems to place great stress on whether on the waxing Moon aspecting/separating from a dirunal planet and the waning Moon doing the same with a nocturnal planet. He considers this to be indicative, generally, of good. If it is the reverse then this creates problems, according to him. But ultimately I do not believe that we have the authority, unless graced by a noetic flash of intuition, to pass a final judgement such as the one you describe when reading a chart. On the other hand studying astrology is learning to accept your limitations so you can better embrace your destiny. My advice is to seek wisdom because ultimately no matter how good or bad a certain thing in the chart looks we are much wiser to entertain and meditate on the possibility that our greatest dreams might be frustrated and that what is ultimately important is awareness and attunment to one's own destiny and I would add to the Divine, above all things (not to sound preachy!). I hope that helps.

In this case it is a day chart (mid afternoon) and Moon is waning gibbous, fwiw. However my understanding is waxing/waning was less important for *whether* one would have children as to *when* one would.
If you follow the theory that conception occurs when the Moon is at the same stage/distance as it was at the time of the native's own birth (which by the way may not coincide with ovulation for years...).. In fact that was the case with my most recent conception (have not checked the previous two). But in all cases losses (deaths) followed.
