I recently published a book titled Life Cycles: Astrology and Its Connection with Nature. It presents my take on the rationale behind the Exaltation and Debilitation degrees. I attached a link to Google Books, which has a preview of my book. You can buy the book on www.lulu.com. Soon it will be available in other markets like Amazon. For the people new to astrology, this is one of the most enigmatic principles in astrology. I can only recall one other astrologer who has given a rationale behind the Exaltation and Debilitation points. I believe my rationale is very compelling given the symmetry my theory creates between the planets and the observable cycles in nature. My books focuses on the East Indian Exaltation and Debilitation points, but I have also found the points within the Western tradition to have almost the exact same results to the East Indian points. This point further convinces me I am on the right track with my rationale. If anyone would read my book, I would love the feedback. And if anyone has or knows of any rationale behind the Exaltation and Debilitation points, I would be very interested in hearing the theory.
