Is Alzheimers about Venus?

1
I just read in the news http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-37451043 that Terry Jones, the actor in Monty Python, has been diagnosed with Alzheimers. His chart is here http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Jones,_Terry
with an A accuracy rating.

I wondered if it is about his Venus in 14 degrees Aquarius 04 minutes, which is natally 45 degrees to his Neptune in 29 degrees Virgo 36 minutes?

Venus is in my observations the most significant planet involved in any kind of mental illness, more so than Mars. It is also involved in intelligence, and a lot of mathematicians have a strong Venus rather than Mercury.

Hi Fleur,
Alois Alzheimer, the doctor who decribed that disease, was born on June 14th, 1864 in Marktbreit (10:08 E / 49:90 N) at 4:00 a.m.

He wrote about that in a publication on November 3rd 1906, T?bingen, Germany.

That might help to find out more about that disease.

I don't know about Venus but I read an interesting article recently as follows:-

http://www.oxfordastrologer.com/2015/04 ... imers.html

She sees an association with the new planet Orcus and the asteroid Arachne. Now I don't work with these recently discovered planets or asteroids for that matter but I did find the article quite interesting.

I then looked at Terry Jones's chart.

I am of the opinion that Neptune would always be involved in such an illness. In his chart I note that Neptune is in a quincunx aspect to Mercury its dispositor. I looked up Orcus and found it to be at 12 Gemini 19 conjoining Jupiter Lord 12. Arachne is at 2 Pisces 50 in the 12th.
I note that by one degree symbolic arc Neptune has directed to an opposition to the Jupiter/Orcus conjunction around this time.

With regard to Venus, by direction it reaches a quincunx aspect to Neptune.

There's probably more to be said but I haven't had the chance to look in detail. I just thought what the Oxford astrologer had to say was interesting.

Vicki thanks, that link is interesting and has a lot of example charts. I haven't heard of some of those people so need to look up biographies for dates of transits when Alzheimers became apparent. Transits, and Solar Arcs from the chart angles, can give big clues.

For instance her first example Norman Rockwell http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Rockwell,_Norman developed Alzheimers around 1968 to 1972 https://goinggentleintothatgoodnight.co ... 1894-1978/

Just from the approximate dates of his Alzheimers onset, his Venus was being heavily affected, and also is powerful natally as you would expect with an artist.

Another of her examples, Iris Murdoch https://www.healthplexus.net/article/ir ... 9s-disease this link says "The first sign of Iris' Alzheimer's disease appeared in 1994 while she was at a literary conference at the University of the Negev in Israel". Her Venus is 6 degrees Virgo 48 minutes, giving an antiscion of 23 degrees Aries 12 minutes, and in 1994 Chiron was 6 degrees Virgo, exactly conjunct it in July 1994, and there was the Neptune Uranus conjunction around 23 degrees Capricorn. Her converse Solar Arc Ascendant is 4.5 degrees Gemini at age 75 in 1994; I am not sure if her date of birth is accurate, (astro data bank A rating "from memory", time rounded up to 8am, Leo sign of long ascension in Dublin) but this seems to be roughly square her natal Venus.

I need to look through all her examples before jumping to conclusions and running with them....could be Venus is too general in its scope and something like Arachne specifies Alzheimers rather than just all kinds of other things.

The topic must be a part of Alzheimer's chart.
The one thing: it materializes physically - the other thing: you deal with it on a mental level.
Mars/Neptune - after all it's the head where Alzheimer materializes.
And MA/NE opp Mo/SA - one's mental capabilities destroyed.
It would have affected Alzheimer personnally had this been in houses 1-3.
I do not really see whay it should be Venus.

I don't know why we ignoring here his AC ruler Mars which debilitated in Taurus in 1st? Than Moon-Sun opposition and Mercury in 12th in square to Saturn-Uranus?
Isn't the Venus the least planet looking here about what caused this medical condition?

My take is that anyone with any neurological disease, whether is be Parkinson's Alzheimers's, ALS, or Huntington's disease tends to have a strong air chart and/or mercury and/or Uranus strong. Many with Alzheimers have mercury in aspect to Uranus or Neptune. This chart shows Gemini rising with Uranus and several planets in Gemini--fits the bill AMY

Iris Murdoch died of Alzheimers on 8th February 1999. The astro data bank page says she had Alzheimers at age 77, in 1996, so I have given the transits for the beginning of 1996 to get a rough idea.

Astro data bank give this chart an accuracy rating of A (not AA).

Her natal Venus is 6 degrees Virgo 48 minutes, antiscion 23 degrees Aries 12 minutes. So transiting Neptune in Capricorn squaring this seem relevant.
