Don't all good Astrologer need to talk with forked tongues ?

Corby can be A Winner but NOT necessarily The Winner.

If he kept May to say less than a 50 seat majority he could claim to have done incredible well.

I think that'd be around 375 for the Tories then.

I think the Results will take time to understand as I hear traditional Labour seats may do very badly (aka "Nuclear Winter") but he may steal some Tory seats.

I read somewhere that Labour are taking seats off the Libdems. There could be all kinds of semi-hidden changes going on. The exit polls are confusing, only tomorrow morning will tell....

So with the dust settling it seems clear the UK General election has produced a hung parliament making the Conservatives the largest party but lacking the majority of seats in the UK parliament. Theresa May's continued leadership is now in question. All eyes now turn to the Northern Irish Democratic Unionist party who seem the likely king makers if the Conservatives are to continue to govern. Its very ironic that Theresa May attacked the Labour party stating they could only form a government which would be a 'coalition of chaos' with the Liberal Democrats or SNP. Now it seems Conservative party hopes are pinned on cobbling together some kind of ''supply and confidence agreement'' with the DUP. What price will the DUP extract from the Conservatives? They are already hinting at a preferential special treatment for Northern Ireland in the Brexit negotiations..... Meanwhile Theresa May seems badly wounded by this result. If the purpose of this election was to get a public mandate for her hard brexit policy her gamble has clearly failed. As Theresa May attempted to run a Presidential style campaign based on her personality and developed her manifesto with a tight group of advisers its hard to not see this setback as a personal rejection for May. The Conservative MP Anna Soubry has already described the election as a 'disastrous result' for the party and suggested Theresa May ''needs to consider her position''. That is political code for resignation.

Now that Neptune on the opening of poll chart MC makes perfect sense. Ah the benefit of hindsight!

Firstly, I object to the term "Hard Brexit" because before the EU referendum there was no talk of hard or soft Brexit, and the Remainers made it quite clear that Brexit (not HARD Brexit) involved leaving the Single Market. Translating remainer speak Hard Brexit - Brexit, Soft Brexit = Not Brexit.

Regardless. Sun over Uranus in Corbyns chart might be said to show a bit of an "appetite for socialism" for the UK... and so long as it doesn't turn out Brits voted against Tory remainers (Many of them in safe seats) it probably means that the UK has voted against Brexit.

Hung Parliament territory now... Will the government shut down like Spains? New elections like Conservative Home are saying? DUP are anti Brexit.

I hope Theresa May stays, but fear who they might replace her with. Maybe somebody nice like Boris?

She does seem badly wounded. Even if the vultures don't throw her out now, this is not a victory.

Theresa May suddenly called the election on (I think it was?) 18th April. Her natal Mars is 13 degrees Pisces 41 minutes, and forms a pattern with IsisTranspluto, Neptune, and the Moon's Mean Nodes. Transiting Neptune is currently sitting right on her natal Mars, and close to a station. The election was called when her natal Mars' antiscion, 16 degrees Libra 19 minutes was being transited by a conjunction from Jupiter within one degree, which triggered transiting Neptune which was conjunct her Mars.

As an aside, the direct aspect between Theresa May's natal Neptune at 29.5 degrees Libra and her Moon's Mean Node at 1.5 degrees Sagittarius (antiscion 28.5 degrees Capricorn) shows those she associates with are Neptunian, so maybe her contact with the Christian church is stronger than the media has shown.

Jupiter does seem to carry its outer planet load the wrong way, which could account for the appearance in April that Theresa May would easily win. In the next two weeks, transiting Uranus and Saturn will carry Neptune "the right way", which is the opposite way that Jupiter went. It isn't actually just Neptune being carried, it is also IsisTranspluto, which is directly squaring Theresa May's natal Moons Nodes, indicating her associates maybe.

Theresa May's natal Mars does seem to need to be "open", so the transit from late January 2016 one degree applying of Pluto in Capricorn to its antiscion at 16 degrees Libra 19 minutes, would have coinciding with her success. Transiting Neptune didn't reach one degree applying to her natal Mars until March 2017, in combination with IsisTranspluto. At first this Neptune, and IsisTranspluto, transit was carried the wrong way by Jupiter in April 2017. Actually, transiting Pluto was joined by transiting IsisTranspluto, so this would be a closed transit to an open natal planet, which is not good. IsisTranspluto transforms Pluto or Neptune to whatever it is doing, and doesn't seem to be able to operate without an aspect to them, so needs either Pluto or Neptune to carry it. The earlier good transit for her would be Uranus in Aries opposing her Mars' antiscion 16 degrees Libra 19 minutes, from one degree applying. It would have been Jupiter within one degree of 13 degree Virgo 41 minutes in May and June 2016, as well as transiting Saturn and Chiron, which took the Pluto/IsisTranspluto closed transit the wrong way to her open Mars at13 degrees Pisces 41 minutes.

I just looked up the dates, and she became Prime Minister on 13th July 2016, two days after becoming leader of her party.

Mars has been shown to be significant in political election charts and competitions. It seems to be about winning. Mars, ruler of Aries and even otherwise named Ares, is a cardinal planet and the charts of top politicians are overwhelmingly Cardinal.

It will be interesting to see the effect on Theresa May's political career when transiting Jupiter again hits her Mars' antiscion, at 16 degrees Libra 19 minutes, with an orb of one degree, which will be late July and early August this year. As well as carrying Neptune, Jupiter will be then joined by Uranus, making a 45 degree semisquare to her Mars from 28 degrees Aries 41 minutes, with an orb of one degree. Jupiter and Uranus are usually both indicators of taking the outer planets they carry against the main trend, and when together also do this, but when they make two aspects to each other within a short period of time, such as when Uranus goes retrograde or direct and Jupiter makes a separate aspect, or if they both go retrograde or direct and then make another aspect to each other, then this "against" is reversed to a "with". The Jupiter Uranus transiting opposition in late September fails to combine within one degree of an aspect to Theresa May's Mars, which would be 28 degrees 41 minutes Aries/Libra.

Trying to keep to the astrology, here's my review of my post of 1st May using the 7am Chart of the Election:
Cancer rises, Moon is the ruler therefore the matter in hand is very much with the Common People. Moon In Sagittarius opp Mercury in Gemini [Mercury rules the Virgo/4th/Opposition party ]: 'the People are opposed to Labour party and/or its Leader'. However there is *no* aspect between Moon and Jupiter [ruler of Pisces/10th/Tories]: 'the People have no real connection to the Tories as such.'

Moon [electorate]: Matter in Hand was very much with the power of the electorate. However the votes were divided: Tories 44% Labour 41% (without reference to the characters of the leaders). This is a close call i.e. ?Hung?.

Interesting Sabian Symbol on Moon?s position at 3 Sag: TWO MEN PLAYING CHESS
?This Symbol shows the ability, or the necessity, to indulge in strategic games, arguments or competitions. There can be a strong sense of knowing how to maneuver situations in order to win or come out on top, often with an eye to possible outcomes. Often, there?s a need to be thoughtful and cautious, taking into account the wider picture. Impulsive acts with no forward planning can be risky. It probably pays to not show your weak side, but do everything with the possible objective of winning. It can be difficult to relax in competitive environments; one often feels that they can?t let their guard down because they might be taken advantage of, in some way. Take one step at a time and move with purpose and forethought. Strategic competition. Seeing the picture several moves ahead. Trying to knock out the opponent. Arguments. Court battles. War strategies. Matching wits. Lawyers. Divorce? https://sabiansymbols.com/the-sun-on-th ... ttarius-3/
Station direct Jupiter, however, is in a strong position, trining Gemini Sun/Prime Minister. The Sun, in turn, squares Neptune close to a wide conjunction with the MC/Pisces: 'confusion, duplicity and deception within the ranks of the Tories'. However the ruler of the MC Jupiter stands firm with the Sun [trine]. The PM?s position is strong and she will be able to override any challenge to her leadership/role.
Sun [PM] square Neptune: Some Tories are now saying it was the ill thought out manifesto that turned the Tory early 'lead' into a downward spiral; they also blame May for calling an unnecessary early election and for her disastrous campaign....so reflecting duplicity among her colleagues.
Jupiter trines Sun: PM?s position is *not strong* but Jupiter will support to overcome challenges within the ranks to maintain leadership [for the time being]. She has to regenerate her position.
Mercury in Gemini/11th [political and collective ideologies represented by Parliament] rules the End of Matter/Virgo [also the House of the Opposition party]. Mercury is in opposition to the Moon, who, in turn, is separating/distancing itself from these collective notions: 'looks like the people have already made their mind up - the Opposition are isolated/alone and weak' [no further aspects to Mercury and no planets within the sign of Virgo to add to the story]

Mercury opp Moon: electorate had made their mind up, *more* in Labour?s favour. Their collective ideologies *did* appeal. Opposition are *not weak* and are only isolated due to not gaining a strong enough majority to form a ?no coalition? government.
The Jupiter ruled Incumbent party will remain as such and the Moon ruled Common People in Sag will support them. [probably because there seems to be no other option, due to the ?weakness? of the opposition party: ?the People?s hands are tied?]
Again the Opposition is *not weak*, just low on the seat majority and therefore they are not the ?winners?. The Moon [electorate] rather than being seen as supporting the Tories are more tied into machinations of the political machine as Brexit negotiations have to move forward. But now, by the way the voting turned out, more of a *softer one* [reflecting the will of the people].
Shortly after the ?conclusion? of the Election, the Moon moves to a sextile with radix Jupiter at 13 deg [in 10 units of time- or the following day around mid-day] further strengthening the alliance with the Incumbent party. However there is an opposition with radix Sun shortly after, at 17deg [Full Moon]; 'some dispute with the PM and the People - the Moon splitting into various factions- possibly highlighting any ?Dissenters/Remainers??'

Today?s earlier Moon sextile Jupiter and the following Full Moon would appear to reflect the *actual* situation: ?Theresa May will visit Buckingham Palace at 12.30pm to seek permission from the Queen to form a government. She has struck a deal with the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) to form a small working majority in coalition. The DUP said the deal would work on a vote-by-vote basis called "confidence and supply" and they would not form a formal coalition?.

The rest of my thread talks about the ensuing Brexit negotiations represented by Jupiter and its aspects and still could reflect the near future [up to early August] as outlined, but not so much the middle to long term one.

Conclusion: on-going need to be objective in predictive mundane astrology; Moon in Sag did tell a strong story, but needed to be looked at in more depth to unravel; Jupiter trine Sun [support for the PM's leadership] was a strong signature for the so called 'successful' outcome of May's 'win'.

You never know with what you hear (what's that japanese saying about the news?.. If you believe everything you read then you better not read!)

However, this DUP group from what I understand so far are Christian zealots who are openly anti gay and anti abortion. (This is humorously the worst outcome for liberals.)

Anti abortion relates to feminism. Which is something I got from the beginning of the Jupiter retrograde cycle. However, I was also wondering whether this could be the manifestation of Neptune in Pisces. What we believe about how we see the Creator or Creative forces etc. when challenged.

My local Conservative MP apparently said once in the distant past that the "gay cure" was a thing. She got half the vote of the rabid remainer Labour guy. (This is Hove next to Brighton, the gay capital of Europe.)

If you make a prediction and you are wrong then, if you presuppose a supernatural power onto the thoughts that got you there (i.e. via astrology) it might be unpleasant to suddenly have to question them. Perhaps people don't want to do that.

The way I understand astrology is what is there is what is there and I find a lot of things but if something isn't there I will not force it.

Other people use transits, progressions, rulerships and a billion asteroids meaning anything. So each time an event happens they can find it somewhere... This means to these people astrology can then be said to prophetically describe every aspect of our experience. Thus since this is a belief in astrology as having the power of a god, the person desires that this belief is not questioned.

Props to the guy that did get hung parliament though. We'll have to see if problems with monarchy come up. I don't know how May is going to get a Queens speech through based on the current Tory manifesto.

(Fleur did you want to say something?)

Phoenix, you didn't pick up my pm. I said the software wouldn't let me delete my post, and I deleted it because it was just a comment about political personalities, not astrological.

57
Thanks, it took me a minute to find PM's.

So does anyone have any idea what is going to happen now? Like astrologically.

In real world terms we have many Tories thinking May should resign, some MP's refusing to go into the cabinet, DUP wanting to make abortion part of their deal for minority government, some people (on the left mostly) want another election and in the middle of all this chaos... Brexit negotiations start the monday after the one coming.

Looking at planetwatcher.com I just have no idea.

Moon conjunct Pluto soon.
Sun opposing Saturn.
Neptune Retrograde.
Sun Sextile North Node
Sun Sextile Uranus.

My brain is dissolving! I imagine the last Uranus will bring a shake up and renewed push for Brexit. But that's all I got!

I do not think the Brexit negotiations will stop with Moon conjunct Uranus and there will be something to do with Russia at this time (Chiron very often Russia and how MSM deals with Russia). Also, as is obvious. Sun is going into Cancer so that the immigrant vs. British Expats issue is expressed there (Mars is already there)!
