Interesting article - thanks, javed.

My major issue with modern day astrology, is 90% of people post their thesis in hindsight. Astrology is easy, post event.

Hardly anyone seems to predict anymore.
If it's not astronomically true, it's not astrologically true.

In countries where Cancer rose at the eclipse,it was actually good news as the eclipse fell in 9th house.
Portugal regained its respect in the Eurozone and Wolfgang Schauble called their finance minister "The Ronaldo of Ecofim". Mars and Venus in Aries on the MC,the same positions Ronaldo has rising, and ruler of 5th Venus on MC reflecting the Eurovision win.

If it were possible to discover the "birthday" of the Manchester Arena i.e. when they first started constructing it, then maybe some sort of prediction might be possible, but even then it would be very broad brush and not much use.

I cast a chart for the day construction started on the Twin Towers (25th Aug 1966). Neptune and the South node conjoined at 19 Scorpio (known as the accursed degree). From that I personally would deduce the possibility of a great tragedy, but when and how is another matter.
