Addey Horse Race Method Revisited 1 by GB I have started to revisit the Royal Ascot races to see if we can learn anything now we know the winners. I?m interested if the scheduled time or the actual time of the race gives the best prediction. The following lists how many races were late by each 1 minute band: below 1 min 3 1 to 2 min 4 2 to 3 min 3 3 to 4 min 6 4 to 5 min 7 5 to 6 min 4 over 6 min 3 Clearly between 3 and 5 minutes was the most common. The lowest was 9 seconds, the largest 9 min 29 seconds I then looked at the first day?s racing and checked if late races changed the JAM indicated planet. I have used applying aspects only except where indicated. Official Actual Winner Plan Offic Plan Act 14:30 14:33:22 Ribchester -72-UR (0d33) -144-MA (0d32) 15:05 15:10:10 Rajasinghe -135-MA (2d30) -135-MA (1d21) 15:40 15:44:07 Lady Aurelia -72-VE (1d40) -72-VE (0d44) 16:20 16:23:34 Barney Roy -120-MA (0d35) - 120-MA sep 0d13 17:00 17:00:46 Thomas Hobson (No close aspects) 17:35 17:40:41 Sound & Silence -90- ME (1d13) -90-ME sep 0d05 My thoughts are that (1) quintile aspects are valid (2) close separating aspects also seem to work but probably not over 20 minutes (from some separating aspects that did not fit the winner). I hope to analyse the other days as time permits. Now, if only we knew in advance how late (or not) a race was going to be ... Quote Sun Jul 02, 2017 8:57 pm
by ModWasp (2) close separating aspects also seem to work but probably not over 20 minutes I've noticed that only with the Sun before, but only by 2/3 mins of arc. I've been looking at the Sound and Silence chart - interesting t-squre between 5th, Mercury and Fortuna. Mercury L10, combust, dis. Sun, LotH and it it's own term. 3 by GB I hope to do the analysis for the second day before the weekend (but don't hold your breath). Quote Wed Jul 05, 2017 6:36 pm
by Jupiterhead Hi, GB I've been adding on +3 mins to all race charts, and things are working out much better. If it's not astronomically true, it's not astrologically true. Quote Thu Jul 06, 2017 5:00 pm
by ModWasp Hi, GB I've been adding on +3 mins to all race charts, and things are working out much better. Just had a look at the 18:25 Newbury - winner Musical Art @18/1. 5th (22? 34') Aries squares Mars (21? 03) L5,L12 - 31' of arc difference, providing race went off as timed. The next aspect - a trine to Saturn is almost 2? away. It would be a shame not to back Oliver Reed in the 19:00 - the 5th makes a square to his natal Moon, according to astrodatabank.com. LOL - just as well i didn't get the bet on! Verum e Quote Thu Jul 06, 2017 5:56 pm
by Jupiterhead There's 2 annoying horses in the 19:50 at Epsom. Sun/Cancer is my preferred Planet. -Silver Ghost (Sun rules the 8th) -Storm King Silver Ghost is the heavy fav, but...must...resist...the...urge...to...back...Storm King...ew... Race Chart is set for +3 mins. If it's not astronomically true, it's not astrologically true. Quote Thu Jul 06, 2017 6:28 pm
by GB Race was off at 19:51:48 C5 in bi-quintile aspect to Moon = Silver (Ghost) Quote Thu Jul 06, 2017 8:32 pm
by Jupiterhead This evening, there's a really nice horse called Wealth Tax running in the 19:30 at Chelmsford. Might be worth an e/w wager. Using the method I am currently working on, Jupiter/Libra is highlighted. Haven't got access to my computer until tonight, but would be interested to see what planet JAM +3 mins highlights... If it's not astronomically true, it's not astrologically true. Quote Fri Jul 07, 2017 9:56 am
by Jupiterhead Interesting. Using JAM, we have:- -Quintile to Mars -Septile to Jupiter Both become separating before +3 mins. See how we get on. If it's not astronomically true, it's not astrologically true. Quote Fri Jul 07, 2017 3:21 pm
by GB Agree and note that both aspects are (just) separating at +3 mins. At the scheduled time the Mars quintile is 12 min applying and Jupiter septile is 33 min applying. On that basis I would make Mars stronger and go for Hammer Gun perhaps, but not with much confidence. Quote Fri Jul 07, 2017 4:17 pm
by ModWasp This evening, there's a really nice horse called Wealth Tax running in the 19:30 at Chelmsford. Might be worth an e/w wager. Have it in a double with Chelmsford 19.00 Mio Ragazzo - My Boyfriend in Italian. Semi sextile Venus, sextile Leo Mercury, L7 Golden Goal - same aspects. Verum e Quote Fri Jul 07, 2017 5:33 pm
