Hi there - Jean's latest release of Planetdance includes a number of new modules.

Phaethon Ephemeris

I have been able to program an ephemeris and chart wheel function for Phaethon, the hypothetical body described by Eric Morse and Bernard Fitzwalter in Dark Stars. The script calculates a daily, monthly or annual Ephemeris for Phaethon, starting from the current date. This setting can be altered to the user's choice. Two charts can be calculated, a chart for the current day, or a natal chart from the main Planetdance window. The following screenshots show the functions.

Vedic Astrology

Planetdance now includes an introductory module for Vedic astrology, showing the chart in the northern or southern style. On running the module for the first time, the user can choose their preferred ayanamsa. The ayanamsa can be changed within a session to see the impact of the different measurements. A range of information is also displayed, including a selection of Varga positions for the navamsa, saptamsa, dwadasamsa, hora, drekkana and trimsamsa divisions. This module will continue to be updated so is a starting point for Vedic astrology within Planetdance.

Classical Hellenistic Chart

To complement the classical functions a basic square format chart is including in the Hellenistic scripts. This can be used alongside the main Greek chart page. The chart displays the seven visible planets, the node and Ascendant.
Topical Considerations

A script is now included to identify the main topical factors in the chart under consideration. The house position of each point is identified, along with the ruler's house. Information related to the houses and rulerships associated with the Lot of Fortune is also displayed.
Jean has also reintroduced the simpler Greek chart. This shows the main chart in a round format with whole sign houses. The window also shows some information about rulerships and aspects.

Hi there - I have been developing the traditional chart module for Planetdance. This combines features of medieval astrology so that users can begin working with traditional methods. The original version of this module just included a square, traditional style chart but the updated version also offers a circular wheel, with the bounds and face wheels around the outside of the main zodiac wheel. There are options of Egyptian and Ptolemaic bounds, and various other customisation options. The parts of fortune, spirit, faith, substance and hyleg can be displayed, along with the pre-natal lunation.

Horoscope-Extra-Flower: 5 April 2021 - v.5.54. - fix for overwriting nm/fm key, major code rewrite, added option to show progressions and solar arcs with transits, added scrolling textbox for lunation dates, added calc lunations function, added calc transit/prog/s arc chart, added show quad wheel, minor formatting and colour changes, added natal planet and house cusp listings

This is a major update for this module so regular users should download the latest Planetdance version to get the new functionality.
