Been in deep discussion with another astrologer over the amount of orb to give each aspect.

I guess you would say this is a poll question:

Please tell me the orbs you use in Horary questions for
Opposition
Trine
Square
sextile
Conjunction
Sesisquare
Quincunx

THANK YOU!!!!

Hello CFJ,
Please read Deborah Houlding
https://www.skyscript.co.uk/aspects.html

and Steven Birchfield
http://www.astrologiamedieval.com/Orbes.htm

Kepler College is more specific on the orbs
https://keplercollege.org/courses/mod/book/view.php?id=1926&chapterid=212

For a list of all aspects (Of interest for Harmonics)
https://www.astrolearn.com/astrology-articles/aspects2/

It seems that the planets involved has more to say on the orb than just the orb itself.
And more ancient, like Vedic astrology considered the planets in signs to be in aspect. Example Aries planets are in sextile to Gemini planets. And the latter approach will let you consider planets being 'friendly' or 'averse' to each other.
And to be more specific on the orb for Horary, the Moon is allowed all major aspects before it leaves its sign - And I am also tempted to use orbs by signs for the reason mentioned above 'friendly' or 'averse'.

In all cases, the debate is not over.

Cheers!
Ouranos
