Sect and Triplicity

Sect was a primary focus of traditional astrology, but over the centuries its importance diminished until by the time of the 20th century it was no longer a consideration in the modern astrological lexicon.

In this talk, we will review some of the earlier authors and see how differentiating between Day and Night had an impact on many of the traditional predictive techniques including that of triplicity and the use of the triplicity rulerships in natal delineation.

Sharon Knight

Sharon originally studied with the Faculty of Astrology up to Diploma level, but then decided predictive astrology was where she wanted to direct her energies. She studied with the late Olivia Barclay, gaining her QHP Diploma in the early 90’s and then went on to study with the late Robert Zoller. Through her exposure to the material from ARHAT/Project Hindsight, Sharon gradually gave up using the outers and by the late 90’s was only using the planets and points as used by the early astrologers up to the 17th Century.
Sharon is a Fellow of the Association of Professional Astrologers International (professionalastrologers.co.uk) and has been Chair since the 90’s. She is a qualified herbalist and gained her MA in Cultural Astronomy & Astrology at Bath Spa in 2004. She has her own Traditional Natal Course (accredited by the APAI) and has taught for various schools abroad and spoken at the AA Conference and for the Astrological Lodge of London. Her website is astrologersharon.co.uk.
