Significator question in medical horary

1
Hi all ,hope you are keeping well. Lee Lehman (or was it Anthony Louis ? ) assigns Uranus to diagnostic imagery but Pluto to significant medical interventions like radiation and chemo. So I am confused what to use for something like a PET CT scan which involves diagnostic imaging as well as radiation? Also I read in an older thread that diagnostic tests can be seen from the 9th house? Is that how it is generally practised?
Any help or insights appreciated.

Serene,

I read that 'A computerized tomography (CT) scan combines a series of X-ray images taken from different angles around your body and uses computer processing to create cross-sectional images (slices) of the bones, blood vessels and soft tissues inside your body. CT scan images provide more-detailed information than plain X-rays do"
So it sounds pretty much right the approach of Lee Lehman.

Normally, you can look at the outer planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto for medicine, surgeries or treatments involving scientific instruments. In the 15th Century, it was more simple - a bloodletting and if not they would cut off with a knife.
ASC for health conditions
6th House for diseases, conditions and causes and recovery.
Sun for general vitality
Moon for your mental state during illness

Best to you,
Ouranos
Blessings!

Ouranos,

Thank you for taking an interest in this thread and sharing your insights. The chart that I was looking at was giving conflicting testimonies when using Uranus vs Pluto so I was wondering if one of them is a better choice.

Yes right so it seems what I am trying to find is the most apt significator for Xrays.

Some people say 9th house shows diagnostic tests but I suppose it shows the diagnostic reports (communication from the doctor -3rd from 7th) rather than the "test" itself.

Best ,

My choice would go for Uranus as Pluto is more invasive like chemo or radiations.

Deborah Houlding says the 6th House for all matters relating to the health industry and those who work in it: dentists, doctors, nurses.
She also says of the 9th House " Ramesey notes: "all manner of students, such as astrologers, physicians, lawyers, and all students of other good learning altogether" ([AR], bk2. p.108)
And again "Places and situations where we seek guidance and wisdom from others. Where we reach out into the unknown in search of widening our knowledge and understanding."

My appreciation goes first to the 6th House because the 6th House is a service, whether it is private or public.
But as you know, sometimes doctors refer to a 'specialist' (seeking guidance in their craft) and the 9th House might have a say in this case. It's also called the House of God maybe because doctors are the last train station before meeting Him.

But there is nothing scientific in my approach, just my gut feeling.
Blessings!
