a member, new friend, sent me email before the game and said there will be one goal for the away team because "election goes with same size houses and jupiter is in the 4th; not the 5th"...

so it was...

Crystal Palace [0 - 1] Bolton W.
31' [0 - 1] K. Nolan

Defending Premier League champs lead Man U by nine points
The Associated Press
Updated: 3:16 p.m. ET Feb. 6, 2005

LONDON - Chelsea was held to a 0-0 tie at home Sunday by Manchester City, the only team to have beaten the English Premier League leaders this season. Manchester City preserved the tie on a stunning one-handed save by goalkeeper David James during injury time.

?They had in David James a goalkeeper who made some incredible saves,? Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho said.

Chelsea, which has 65 points, leads second-place Manchester United by nine points. Man United beat Birmingham City 2-0 on Saturday. Defending champion Arsenal, which also won Saturday, is next with 54 points.

Everton got a late goal from Marcus Bent to hold Southampton to a 2-2 tie and cement its position in fourth place. Bent fired an angled shot past goalkeeper Nigel Martyn during the second minute of injury time. James Beattie also scored for Everton.

Everton, with 48 points, still trails Arsenal by six, but leads fifth-place Liverpool by five. Southampton is in next-to-last place with 19 points.
